ABOUT ME

I am Adele Wilkinson and I have been playing the violin since around the age of 4 and have grown to love music ever since. I then went onto playing in various orchestras, performing at venues such as De Montfort Hall and abroad in France and Germany. I studied Media Production at the University of Lincoln where I composed soundtracks to various film and media projects, and was also a member of the university's Chamber Orchestra. Here I discovered even more of a passion for music, as it helped me to escape whatever I was going through at the time. I then started to write and record my own songs, which are available to stream and download on Spotify, Apple Music and all other streaming platforms. You can also buy them as a physical copy from Yellowbelly Records, all of which I will link below and at the bottom of the website.

Since this, I have gone on to play violin and sing at weddings, various work related events and parties. If you love 'Bridgerton' then I can bring this style of performance to your event, playing modern, well-known tunes on my violin that will be sure to get your foot tapping or singing along! I also use loop pedals to record live and play over different parts, which often goes down well and entertains people. Alternatively, I can sing and play violin together, and with this type of performance, I am happy to do covers and also my own songs or something of your choice. I can also just sing or just play violin, it's up to you! In the past I have played for brides as they walk down the aisle and throughout different points during and after the wedding reception.
